For over ten years ( 1994-2004)  Mic Barnette wrote a genealogical/historical column in the Houston Chronicle.

He is again writing and will be bringing back many of his old articles and updating them for the 20-teens.

Mic will talk about old news, new news, websites, pass along information and tell how genealogical research has changed in recent years.

Mic will revisit books he reviewed in the column and tell if they are still available or if they are digitized on the internet and where.
